A prepress is composed of many professional actions, that leads solutions of designers to a final printed product. The prepress is very important and responsible part of a graphic work. In order to do a job well, it is necessary to have knowledge and experience about all techniques of printing and finishing , as well as knowledge about characteristics of substances from which the product is made or on which the product is printed.
The prepress includes text typing, scanning and photo processing, photo editing, and if it is necessary, corrections and translations of a text for printing, ex. brochures, catalogues, books, leaflets, posters or some other printed material.
